CLIMATE ACTION, CIRCULAR ECONOMY, INTEGRATING NATURE

Making responsible pet clean-up second nature. Armed with our range of considerate clean-up products for dogs and cats, we’re as committed as ever to climate action, nature, and supporting the circular economy. Pet clean-up is something millions of us do every day. That’s a lot of bags, a lot of wipes, a lot of stuff that ends up somewhere. We haven’t found the perfect solutions yet, but we’ve spent 15 years (and counting) looking better ones. And we’ll keep on pushing.
❋ A BIT ABOUT USWe’re doing it for our community of dog and cat people. The ones that love to explore the natural spaces a stable climate supports. We’ve seen, first hand, how integrating climate and nature can help build your business and engage with your community.
❋ WHY WE'RE SPEAKING UPMore ambition and action to build a thriving UK economy that respects climate and nature by creating incentives for businesses to continue integrating climate and nature into how they run.

Roundtable: Consultation on the Secretary of State’s 2025 “State of Climate and Nature” Statement
Facilitated by: Corporate Leaders’ Group UK, Aldersgate Group
About the roundtable:
We attended the UK Business Leaders' Summit during LCAW alongside the UK Net Zero Council, fellow businesses (mostly much bigger ones), policymakers, and NGOs. The event included an interactive Net Zero Council session. We then contributed to roundtables that helped shape the Department of Net Zero Energy and Security (DESNZ) 2025 "State of Climate and Nature" statement.
Why it’s important to us:
Businesses of our size and industry rarely have the opportunity contribute at this level. Yet, we represent a bit portion of the economy. Showing a broad base of support for UK ambition on climate and nature during key moments like this will, we hope, give those in power the confidence and knowledge to continue rewiring the UK economy so it incentivises businesses across all industries to take progressive climate and nature action.
How we contributed:
During the roundtable, we helped dispel the myth that environmental action in business is a financial liability. Instead, showing that commercial benefits and climate/nature action often go hand in hand. We drew on our 95% airfreight reduction between 2023 - 2025 that reduced cost, improved customer service, and reduced emissions. It's one of many examples.

Report: A Foundation for Economic Growth - Implementing CRIO - Energy Systems Catapult
Author: Emily Ford & Dr Danial Sturge, Energy Systems Catapult
Facilitated by: Aldersgate Group
About the report:
A report by the Energy Systems Catapult that analyses the issues businesses face when measuring their carbon footprint, then proposed system-level changes to tackle the core issues. Improving uptake of carbon measurement across business communities, to continue the integrating of environmental factors into the economy.
Why we got involved:
Since our first in 2021, our carbon measurements have created the super insightful baseline from which we've planned our environmental action, tracked progress, and given the team tangible wins to celebrate. We've also been through the highs and lows of the measurement process. We want to help break down some of the barriers we've had to overcome so more businesses can get involved for a greater collective impact.
How we contributed:
We offered ourselves as a case study (you can find us on p16 & 44), sharing how long the annual measurement process takes and how we streamlined it year-on-year. We shared the greatest challenges we faced, gathering credible data from suppliers. And how we feel they could be overcome, an internationally recognised reporting structure so suppliers only have to gather once and share with all.
