A panel discussion at Reset Connect, where brand representatives described how their organisations approach sustainability in operations and supply chains, industry collaboration, and consumer communication. Panellists discussed specific initiatives and data relevant to their own businesses. Facilitated by Reset Connect, with a moderator posing questions to panellists from different companies.
Why we joined:
We believe brands should compete on the shelf, not on sustainability knowledge. The hardest parts of this work — recycling infrastructure, material choices, end-of-life design are easier to solve together than alone. Sharing our data and approach openly, rather than treating it as a competitive advantage, is how we think the wider oral care category moves forward faster.
How we contributed:
SURI discussed how sustainability is embedded across our supply chain and operations; our approach to systems-level change and industry collaboration, including our brush-head recycling scheme; how we engage both sustainability-unaware and sustainability-aware consumers differently; and reflections on barriers, successes, and practical advice for other businesses working through their own sustainability transformation.
