2026 / 2027

Showing support for UK ambition around key moments:

  • We’ll be representing UK SMEs in the community showing support for UK leadership. We’ll be particularly focused on COP 31’s SME day.

  • We’ll be joining the community calling for global ambition to protect and restore biodiversity.

  • We’ll be collaborating with, and bringing together, our community to contribute to the momentum of progress that comes with LCAW.

contributing to policy development and roll out for:

  • Sharing insights on how to break down the barriers businesses face in decarbonising, so we continue building climate action into the everyday functioning of the economy.

  • Sharing how to overcome the barriers of putting nature at the heart of decision-making, making progress towards nature-positive business as a core economic consideration.

  • Identifying how to remove the barriers to more circular practices and how to make the most from embedding resource efficiency and circularity into our economy.

  • Exploring how to break down barriers to clean, affordable energy and electrification, so our economy can be driven on clean power.

  • Highlighting ways to overcome barriers to accessing green finance and what’s possible when we do, helping this becoming more mainstream in how the economy is funded.

  • Supporting those working to build climate resilience into our economy, so businesses have the tools to adapt to the shape-shifting global economy.

    Small Beer and Beco attended the UK Business Leaders’ Summit. Here they joined a Net-Zero Council Live session, followed by contributing to a high-level roundtable that developed the official business perspective for the government’s parliamentary “state of climate and nature” statement in July.

  • Small business contribution to carbon measurement report

    STREAMLINING CLIMATE ACTION

    JUNE ‘26

    Beco were a case study on a government facing report on the challenges of measuring carbon footprints and how to overcome them. Beco’s carbon measurements have been a foundation for environmental action, tracking progress, and tangible wins for the team. They hope to help break down barriers for more to involved.
